Beginning Signs of Diabetes

If you have any of the beginning signs of diabetes, you should get tested. It is recommended that people over forty-five and overweight should get tested. This is done by your doctor with a glucose test to see if the levels of sugar are too high.

These symptoms and others will progress in time and get more critical if the diabetes is present and goes undiagnosed and untreated. These beginning signs of diabetes should not be ignored. As this disease progresses, more complications will arise, putting your life in jeopardy.

Diabetes is not a disease that will go away by itself. Diabetes will usually progress if not treated. In the United States, diabetes is sixth leading cause of death.

Why Is Diabetes So Common In the United States?

People who live in other countries where they mainly eat vegetables and fruit, rice, fresh fish from open air markets don't have our disease rates that we do, but when they acquire the American high fat high sugar diet they get our diseases like cancer, heart attack, stroke and diabetes at the same rate we do.

What Causes Diabetes?

It's a Worn Out Pancreas, diabetes is a disease of sugar and fat metabolism caused by problems with insulin secretion by the pancreas, or with the insulin sensitivity of the cells.Insulin, a hormone, helps with the bodies uptake of sugar required by every cell to produce energy.

Resveratrol and Diabetes

Joseph Maroon M.D. and Joseph Baur, Ph.D. in the book "The Longevity Factor" Resveratrol can help with the sugar being absorbed in our cells and can help lower high blood sugar. And resveratrol turns on anti aging genes in the cells and helps prevent other diseases.

How Resveratrol Can Help

What is the relationship between Resveratrol factors and diabetes? Through their action of decreasing insulin resistance, enhancing glucose's ability to enter the cells, and stabilizing weight, polyphenols(resveratrol) provide a complementary way to attack this disease.
